Europe: Looking Ahead #1 (Disneyland Paris!)

in the leg last of our trip we spend a few days in paris before heading home.

"what do you think about paris disneyland, rhiannon? - ma
"WHAT?!" - me
so now we have tickets to disneyland.

HOLY MOLY DISNEYLAND WHAT THERE IS NO WAY I'M ACTUALLY GOING TO DISNEYLAND ONLY PEOPLE IN MOVIES GO TO DISNEYLAND IS IT EVEN REAL?!
okay breathe. breathe rhiannon.

never in my life, all 19 years, did i think i would have the opportunity to travel to paris, let alone freakin' disneyland. i mean, it's disneyland. DISNEYLAND! what do people even do in disneyland?!
i'm a bit old for rides, plus i'm travelling with my ma. while she would probably fit under the "YOU MUST BE THIS HEIGHT" signs (i say this lovingly), she isn't one for roller coasters or teacup rides. well, maybe teacup rides.

THE PRINCESSES! okay, am i too old to ask for pictures with the costumed characters? i can meet arial! oh dear. okay. now i'm excited.

and the shops! i'll have to get gifts! what do they sell at disneyland? plush toys, figurines, costumes (for children, damn!)

hmm.. i may have to do some research.
anyone been to any of the disney-related-places? any recommendations?

thursday. sinking (an update)

sinking further beneath assignments, oh dear! 6 weeks or so until i leave for europe - 6 weeks or so to complete 7 assignments and 1 exam! oh dear.

the light though. the light at the end of the tunnel. i think when i first arrive in london i will most certainly cry at the beauty of it. it's calling me. london has been calling me my whole life, like gallifrey calling the master. i hear the drumming, that beat of four. i am coming.

but first, essays and group presentations. also, multiple choice exams (ahh, the beauty of an education degree. teachers who love teaching to their core and hate standardised testing!)
