thursday. my body

so we've decided to join a gym. i have grown to love my body, but i'm excited to work on it nonetheless. we should probably stop eating so much pasta/potatobake/chocolate ...


This is my body
And I live in it
It's thirty-one and six months old
It's changed a lot since it was new
It's done stuff it wasn't built to do
I often try to fill it up with wine
And the weirdest thing about it is
I spend so much time hating it
But it never says a bad word about me

This is my body
And it's fine
It's where I spend a vast majority of my time
It's not perfect, but it's mine
It's not perfect

  1. Increased fitness can only ever be a good thing! In addition to the physical benefits, being active also helps you feel better mentally and emotionally, so you have increased quality of life ;)

    We power walk daily for 1hr minimum. Now that the weather is getting warmer we are looking at changing our walking routes to keep things interesting. You are welcome to join us any time my sweetheart :)
